Chromy

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Loop Software collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Chromy mobile application.

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Who we are

Chromy is operated by Loop Software (Loop Yazılım). For privacy questions, contact us at info@loopyazilim.net. Our main office is in Bilişim Vadisi, Kocaeli, Türkiye.

Chromy is a photo cleaning app: you filter your photo library by colour, review photos one by one, and swipe to keep or delete them.

Your photos never leave your device

With your permission, the app reads photos from your device’s photo library in order to show them and to work out each photo’s dominant colour. Both the display and the colour analysis happen entirely on your device.

We never upload, copy or transmit your photos, and we never see them. There is no server-side image processing of any kind.

When you delete photos, the app asks the operating system to remove them. They go to your device’s “Recently Deleted” album, where iOS keeps them recoverable for 30 days. We are not involved in that step and we keep no record of which photos you deleted.

Information we collect

There is no account and no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we never receive them.

Installation identifier: the first time you open the app, it generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. This is not your advertising identifier and not a hardware identifier; it is a random value created by the app itself, and installing the app again produces a new one. The app sends it to our server so that a purchase can be matched to this installation.

Purchase records: if you buy anything in the app, Apple gives the app a digitally signed receipt for that transaction. The app forwards it to our server, which verifies Apple’s signature and stores what the receipt contains: the transaction identifiers Apple assigns, which product was bought, and the purchase, expiry and refund dates. We never receive your card details, billing address or Apple Account.

We do not collect your location, contacts, health data, advertising identifiers, or analytics about how you use the app. The app contains no advertising SDK and no third-party tracker.

How we use information

We use the installation identifier and the purchase records for one purpose only: to work out whether this installation has paid for the app, and to keep that answer correct over time.

That is why the app asks our server each time it opens. It lets a purchase you made follow you to a new phone when you restore it, and it lets access end correctly if a purchase is refunded or a subscription expires — something the app cannot tell on its own.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or analytics.

Storage and security

Everything the app keeps on your device — your settings, your streak and statistics, and the installation identifier — is stored in the operating system’s own app storage, inside your device’s sandbox.

The installation identifier and purchase records are stored on Microsoft Azure in the West Europe region. All connections between the app and our servers use HTTPS.

Our servers reach the database without any shared password or connection string: access is granted only to the service’s own managed identity and is restricted at the network level.

We keep purchase records for as long as they are needed to honour the purchase and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Sharing with third parties

Apple — handles the payment itself and tells our server when a purchase is renewed, expires or is refunded. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to the purchase.

Microsoft Azure — our hosting and database provider, acting on our instructions as a processor.

That is the complete list. We share nothing with advertisers or data brokers, and we never sell your information.

Your choices and rights

Use it without paying: if you never make a purchase, the only thing our server ever holds for you is the installation identifier.

Withhold photo access: you can decline the photo permission, or grant access to selected photos only, from iOS Settings. The app cannot see anything you do not allow.

Delete what is on your device: removing the app deletes your settings, statistics and the installation identifier along with it. A fresh install starts over with a new identifier.

Delete what is on our servers: write to us at the address below and we will delete the records tied to your installation. If you still hold a purchase, deleting them may mean you have to restore it before the app recognises it again.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict the processing of your data. Write to us and we will help.

Children

Chromy is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with an updated date.
