Pixel Diary

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Loop Software collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Pixel Diary mobile application.

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Who we are

Pixel Diary is operated by Loop Software (Loop Yazılım). For privacy questions, contact us at info@loopyazilim.net. Our main office is in Bilişim Vadisi, Kocaeli, Türkiye.

Information we collect

Account information: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identity token and basic profile details provided by that provider (such as name and email, when available).

Profile data you choose to provide: display name, username and optional avatar.

Couples / room content you create: memories (including photos and media you upload), moods and mood notes, scores, special days, location pins (place name and map coordinates you add), logs/gifts and related timestamps.

Technical data needed to run the service: authentication tokens, push notification tokens (if you enable notifications), device/app identifiers required for delivery, and standard server logs (for example IP address, request time and error diagnostics).

How we use information

We use your information to create and maintain your account, operate shared rooms between partners, sync and display the content you create, send optional push notifications about room activity, provide support, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your diary content for advertising.

Storage and security

Account and room data are stored on our cloud infrastructure (including database and private object storage). Media files are kept in a private container and are accessed through short-lived signed URLs.

Access and refresh tokens are used to authenticate the app. Refresh tokens are stored hashed on our servers; the mobile app keeps session tokens in the device secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).

Room membership controls access: a user can only access content belonging to their own active room.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We apply industry-standard safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing with third parties

We share information only as needed to operate the app:

Apple and Google — to authenticate Sign in with Apple / Google.

Cloud hosting and storage providers — to host the API, database and private media storage.

Push notification infrastructure — to deliver notifications you opt into.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and integrity of users and the service.

Your choices and rights

You can update profile details in the app, leave or dissolve a shared room according to the in-app flow, and delete your account from Account & Security. When a room is dissolved, associated room content and media are deleted from our systems (subject to short-term backup and legal retention needs).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact info@loopyazilim.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Pixel Diary is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
