What The Cook
This Privacy Policy explains how Loop Software collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the What The Cook mobile application.

What The Cook is operated by Loop Software (Loop Yazılım). For privacy questions, contact us at info@loopyazilim.net. Our main office is in Bilişim Vadisi, Kocaeli, Türkiye.
You can use the app as a guest without creating an account. A guest session is tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your name or email.
Account information — if you register, we store your email address and, optionally, your name, phone number and gender. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email that service provides. Passwords are stored only as a irreversible hash.
Content you create — the recipes generated for you, your chat messages with the AI assistant, your shopping lists, favourites and recipe ratings.
Profile photo — only if you choose to upload one.
Purchase records — which token pack or subscription you bought and the receipt Apple or Google returns, so we can credit your tokens and confirm your subscription. We never receive your card number or billing address.
Technical data — a device identifier used for advertising, notification tokens if you enable push notifications, and the IP address and browser agent of your sessions for security purposes.
Recipe generation — the cuisines, ingredients and budget you choose, and your chat messages, are sent to our server and forwarded to Microsoft Azure OpenAI to produce recipes. Premium subscribers also get an AI-generated picture for each recipe, produced by the same provider.
Images and avatars are stored in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
Purchase receipts are sent to Apple or Google for verification.
Advertising — the app shows ads through Google AdMob. Ads are requested as non-personalized, so AdMob receives a device identifier but we do not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not build an advertising profile about you.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with data brokers.
You can use the app as a guest and never provide an email or name.
You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings.
Purchasing Remove Ads or Premium stops all advertising in the app.
You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it by writing to info@loopyazilim.net. Deleting the app alone does not delete data held on our server.
What The Cook is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
